Rafael Nadal was seen sobbing alongside his close friend Roger Federer as the Swiss Maestro said goodbye to tennis.
The duo paired up to compete against Jack Sock and Frances Tiafoe in the Laver Cup on September 23.
In a closely contested match, they narrowly lost with a score of 6-4, 6-7(2), 9-11.
Federer was visibly emotional as he received congratulations from Team Europe at the end of the match, and the camera then captured Nadal also overwhelmed by the moment.
Nadal could be seen crying as they embraced each other on the court.
Later, both Federer and Nadal were sitting together courtside, still shedding tears, while two-time BRIT Award winner Ellie Goulding performed.
